The Reformer is the most versatile piece of Pilates equipment, allowing for hundreds of different exercises using spring-based resistance, straps, and a moving carriage. This versatility makes Reformer Pilates uniquely adaptable—able to support beginners while still challenging more advanced movers.

Reformer Pilates Classes at Mainely Pilates

We offer two types of group Reformer Pilates classes to ensure a safe, supportive, and effective experience for all clients.

Reformer Intro Class

The Reformer Intro class is a slower-paced class designed to familiarize you with the Reformer, foundational Pilates exercises, and the general flow of a group Reformer class. This class provides the opportunity to build confidence, learn proper setup, and develop body awareness before moving into a faster-paced All Levels class.

  • All new members are required to take at least one Reformer Intro class before joining an All Levels class

  • If you are brand-new to Pilates, it is recommended that you take at least three Intro classes or Private Sessions before transitioning to an All Levels class

  • You are welcome to take as many Intro classes as needed until you feel comfortable and confident

Reformer All Levels Class

Reformer All Levels classes are designed to deliver a challenging, full-body, functional strength workout while improving alignment, mobility, and flexibility. These classes are structured to offer layered progressions, allowing each client to work at their own level within a supportive group setting.

Our goal is for you to leave class feeling strong, energized, and accomplished—like you worked hard, but feel better in your body afterward.
