studio policies

  • Classes can be scheduled on the Mainely Pilates Mobile App or Website 7 days in advance.

Members can schedule 9 days in advance.

Intro Pack Holders can schedule 14 days in advance.

Private or Semi-Private Sessions can be scheduled by sending an email to the studio.

  • Classes can be canceled through the Mainely Pilates Mobile App or Website.

Cancellations up to 12 hours prior to class will receive no penalty.

Cancellations within the 12-hour Window will incur a $20 fee. Each client will receive one courtesy exception.

No-shows (not showing up to class and not canceling or communicating with the studio) will incur a loss of the class credit plus a $20 fee. No exceptions.

  • Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your class start time to give yourself time to change and get set up for class. Arrivals after class start time may not be admitted to class. No one will be admitted 5 minutes after class start time. This is in order to ensure everyone has a positive class experience.

  • If a class is full, you can join the waitlist.

We use a first-come, first-serve system. If you are next on the waitlist and a space becomes available, you will automatically be added to class.

The waitlist will stop admitting people into class spots 60 minutes ahead of the class start time.

If you are on the waitlist and are no longer able to attend class, please remove yourself as soon as possible. There is no penalty for removing yourself from a class waitlist.

Cancellation, late, and no-show policies still apply if you are added to a class from the waitlist.

  • If you have never done Reformer Pilates before, it’s recommended that you take 3 Reformer Intro classes or Private Sessions before trying other levels. If you have physical limitations, it’s recommended that you stick with Intro/Beginner-level classes. This is to ensure your safety, and the best experience for everyone in the class.

If you have done Reformer Pilates before, we require that you take one Intro Class before moving into other levels so that you can learn how to use our equipment and our basic class flow.

Mat classes are open to all levels.

  • Memberships each have their own cancellation policy - please see terms and conditions for each membership option.

Memberships can be paused for up to 1 month for a $30 fee.

Packages each have their own expiration date - please see terms and conditions for each package option.

  • Some Memberships come with free guest passes that can be booked through the Mainely Pilates App or Website. Guest Passes can be used one time per guest.

  • If you are sick, please stay home. If you have mild cold symptoms or think you might have been exposed to something but do not have symptoms, you can wear a mask to class. We have masks available at the studio.

If you have GI symptoms or a cough, please do not come to class.

  • We do not allow shoes in the studio - please do not walk into the studio with your outdoor shoes on.

Clients are required to wear Grip Socks in class for safety and hygiene. If you forget your socks, we have them available for purchase.

If you tend to sweat a lot, please plan to bring a towel to class. We do not currently have laundry service available.

Please wear clothing to cover your body (for example, please do not wear loose-fitting shorts so that people can see your underwear).

Please come to class with clean feet and a clean pair of grip socks, and avoid excessive use of fragrance or lotions that will stain the reformers. Wipes are available.

  • It is very important for your own safety and well-being that you inform your instructor of any injuries, medical issues or pregnancy. This information will be kept confidential, and shared with staff only.

Those with physical limitations may benefit from Private Sessions or sticking with Intro-Level Classes, depending on the issue.
